Last updated: 3 August 2025
Welcome to Webtik! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By subscribing to a Webtik plan or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Us
Webtik® is a trading name of Digidom Studios Ltd, a UK-based company providing professional website design and management services through a monthly subscription model.
2. Service Overview
Webtik offers professionally designed, fully managed websites under a range of subscription plans.
2.1 Website Platform Technology
“Website Platform Technology” (the “Platform Technology”) refers to the supported website platform used to deliver services. At present, this includes Webflow and Shopify, though Webtik may expand or change supported platforms in the future.
Each subscription plan may include:
- Design and build of a website using the selected Platform Technology.
- Hosting (via the Platform Technology provider).
- Ongoing technical support.
- Additional features such as SEO reports, CMS/blog functionality, and e-commerce tools (depending on the plan).
3. Subscription and Payment
- A valid subscription must be active before development work begins.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via your chosen payment method.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Failed or missed payments may result in service suspension or removal of your website.
- Minimum Term: Each subscription requires a minimum commitment of 12 consecutive months.
- After the initial 12-month term, your subscription will automatically continue on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled in accordance with Section 6.
4. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Your Webtik subscription includes a fully managed website service—meaning we handle the design, hosting, technical upkeep, and support so you can focus on running your business.
- Content Ownership: You retain full ownership of any content you provide, including text, images, branding, and logos.
- Site Management: While your subscription is active, Webtik manages and hosts your website on your behalf. The underlying website structure, design, and functionality remain under Webtik’s control as part of the subscription service.
4.1 Website Transfer (Optional, After 12 Months)
If you decide to leave Webtik and would like to take your website with you, we offer the option to transfer your site into your own Platform Technology account after 12 months of continuous subscription.
Transfer terms and fees vary depending on:
- Your subscription plan.
- The complexity of your site (e.g., CMS, e-commerce, integrations).
- Any custom or non-transferable features.
To request a transfer quote, contact us at support@webtik.co.uk. We’ll provide a clear breakdown of what’s involved.
Note: Once the transfer is completed, your Webtik subscription will end, and ongoing hosting, support, and services will no longer be included.
